You've probably seen the meme: someone texts "Let me run it by my lawyer real quick," then just uploads the PDF to ChatGPT. Funny, but it's a real habit now.
Quick context for those just finding us: Signify is a document management and e-signature platform. 2,000+ organizations use it to send, sign and track their agreements, and signing takes under a minute.
But fast signing didn't stop people from scrolling to the bottom of a 20-page contract and signing anyway, because reading legal text without a legal background is hard.
That's what Signify AI Chat is for. Ask for a summary, ask "can I cancel early?", ask anything in your own words, and every answer points back to the exact lines in the document, so you can verify it yourself. Built right into Signify, where your documents get signed and managed.
@zviad_tsotskolauri1 This is a great example of AI being added to solve a very specific problem rather than just because “every product needs AI.” Being able to ask questions about a document before signing it makes a lot of sense. Congrats on the launch!
Quite a SIGNIFYcant problem you've addressed (Pun intended).
I guess we've all been there - pretending to read the whole contract - while trying to find those 3 important points that are the most interesting for you - IN PLAIN HUMAN LANGUAGE.
And yes - turns out uploading documents to LLMs might not be quite LEGAL after all 😁
So best of luck team. You're making lives (and contracts) easier.
Cheers! 🚀
@gchikhradze1 SIGNIFYcant 😁😁😁 Nicely done.
@ninuna_ungiadze2
One question - why don't you call this feature SINGIFAI 🤔 😁
@gchikhradze1 Love that naming, thank you! 😄 AI Chat is the one of several AI features we're rolling out, so we kept the name simple for now. Once there are more to tie together, SignifAI might be good version for the entire AI bundle. What would you want an AI feature in Signify to do next?
@ninuna_ungiadze2
Glad you asked 😁
Would be interesting if you could incorporate the LABOUR CODE as well - checking how a contract complies with local laws and regulations.
Coming from my previous experience, even a single employment contract can be hard enough to understand. But when you need to figure out whether a specific clause complies with the Labour Code, or potentially violates your rights, it gets even more complicated.
This might be more of an "employment contract-specific" use case, but the broader idea is interesting: connecting a specific contract with relevant local laws and regulations, and bringing both into a single space (or AI).
Could be a much easier way for people to understand not just their contracts, but their rights as well.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Nino, and I work on marketing at Signify.
Agreements run business. Every hire, deal and partnership that matters ends up in one.
Yet we treat them as something to survive, not something to understand.
At Signify, our mission is to take a dull category and make it simpler, clearer, and a little more fun. AI Chat is our next step: agreements you can understand before you sign them.
Tell us: what's the strangest thing you've ever signed without reading?
And thank you to @elene_tandashvili for hunting us. 🙌
@elene_tandashvili @zviad_tsotskolauri1 @ninuna_ungiadze2 Congrats on the launch, guys! =)
Really useful stuff for working with documents.
Is there a chat section where I can ask AI questions about the document?
@elene_tandashvili @zviad_tsotskolauri1 @adana Thank you Adana. Yes of course you can test it out. We have created a very interesting document for this :))) check out our landing: https://signifyapp.com/en/ai-chat
@elene_tandashvili @zviad_tsotskolauri1 @ninuna_ungiadze2 Cool, thanks ! Loved Signify even more =)
Translating legal jargon into plain words is cool, but jumping straight to the exact line so you don't have to blindly trust the fine print or the AI? That's easily the best part
Never blind-signing a contract ever again, never agreeing to terms and conditions blindly again
This feels especially useful for those moments when you get a contract and just want to know, “What should I actually pay attention to here?” Being able to surface the important clauses quickly could save a lot of back-and-forth.
Congrats on the launch! 🚀
@mariam_baliashvili Glad you find it useful. That is actually a legit question you can give our AI. We have quite an interesting test document on our landing page. You might give it a try and ask questions
