Itā€™s taken me a long time to commit to Sigma - Iā€™ve tried it in many stages but of late, now the product is more refined, Iā€™ve found it to be the complete package. Historically Iā€™ve always found the lack of support for X or the inablity to do Z has been too limiting but, with what is now V1, these complaints no longer exist. Canā€™t believe how much theyā€™ve shipped over the last year and makes me all the more excited to see what comes next. Of all the Product Hunt products to try, this has to be the one. Itā€™s not a gimicy menubar app which, using ā€œtransformative AI and hyperfast Machine learningā€ enables you to turn your cursor into a f***ing emoji and nor is it an app which only caters to a niche so small that even the founders of the app donā€™t fall within it; Instead, Sigma actually delivers where it matters, the app you use most. Whilst the above may look like evangelist internal-sales copy, it is the most honnest review I can offer. I strongly believe in the value acrued from employing powerful productivity tools and, alongside Raycast and Obsidian SigmaOS sits at the top of my list of tools. šŸ™ Good luck to the team with the launch and thank you!! šŸ™

I can't take a Mac-only *browser* seriously. Browsers are supposed to be cross-platform. Even Edge has a Linux version

- Can only import eight extensions from other browsers - Hotkeys mess up all experience - I thought my mouse is broken because I also have key settings on it

Toll. Cheers

I think that SigmaOS broke way too many patterns of existing browsers and overall made the UX worse. This was especially pronounced in its use of hotkeys and shortcuts in general. With the way so many patterns were changed, it felt like a"if it ain't broke, don't fix it" type of situation.

Hi. Thanks for your hard work. Unfortunately it seems too unintuitive for me to use. Came back to Safari.

After one too many minor frustrations with Safari, and a mention from a friend about this new project called SigmaOS, I decided to give this browser a try. A few months later, it is my default browser. I wouldnā€™t recommend SigmaOS for everyone, but for people who spend a lot of time in a browser and who are looking for a streamlined and focused workflow, this browser has a lot to offer. Instead of tabs becoming a clutter of nonsense like was my experience in the past, SigmaOS encourages me to view tabs as a todo listā€”items I can check off as I complete the associated tasks. Plus it looks really clean and simple, so itā€™s a pleasure to use. I have yet to see any value in generative AI in a browser, but theyā€™re doing that too so weā€™ll see where it goes.
