Hey Product Hunt! I'm Aurelien, the maker of Share Auth.
Share Auth started with a client report I needed to prepare. I needed to log in to Google Analytics, but the person with the phone needed for two-factor authentication was on vacation. I had to chase them down just to get access.
That experience made me want a way for a team to get its 2FA codes without depending on one person's phone.
Share Auth is a shared authenticator for teams that need access to the same work accounts. Add a TOTP account to a team vault, invite your teammates, and let them get the current code when they need it.
The key distinction is between reading a code and managing its underlying secret. Viewers can copy codes without seeing the seed. Other roles handle account management and team administration.
You can also get codes where you already work: a browser extension (Chrome and Edge) fills in the right code on the sign-in page, and Slack, Discord and Microsoft Teams answer a /otp command. For AI agents, an open-source MCP connector gives Claude, ChatGPT or Codex the current code without ever handing over the seed, and every code obtained shows up in the access log. Some of this depends on your plan.
You can start free with 3 members and 3 accounts, with no credit card. Paid plans start at €6 per user per month, and Product Hunt gets 3 months free on any paid plan with code PRODUCTHUNT3.
I'd love feedback from small teams and agencies: how do you handle 2FA for shared accounts today, and where does that workflow break down?
