Hello Product Hunters, Please check out SentimentSnap (www.sentimentsnap.com) and let us know your thoughts. Feedback and suggestions are welcomed! We created SentimentSnap because we believe most small to mid-sized brick and mortar businesses need a simple way to gather honest, private customer feedback. These businesses don’t have the budget or expertise to implement complex customer satisfaction surveys. Public reviews are extremely important but they’re skewed by the relatively small percentage of people who post them, usually when they’re either super happy or super angry. SentimentSnap fills the gap between expensive market research and reactive public reviews. Our solution helps businesses proactively monitor their performance and potentially identify issues before they show up on Yelp, Google, Facebook, Trip Advisor etc. We currently have a gelato chain doing a pilot program in LA and are seeking more small to mid-sized brick and mortar businesses to test drive our solution for free. In addition, we are looking for a Head of Business Development/Growth to join our team and help roll this out (equity-based compensation only to begin with).

That sets us apart from the other (hardware-based) solutions. Our platform is QR code-centric. With QR scanning support now baked into iOS and Android for several generations and the increased familiarity with QR codes in a more touch-free world, we believe that we're hitting the convergence of customer feedback and QR codes at the right moment. How do you direct customers here rather than other more public channels?

@james_afino hi James. Customers are prompted to give feedback by signs place in-location. They scan a QR, choose their smiley, add an optional comment and they're done.
