I foster cats and volunteered at Furry Friends Animal Aid — and got buried in spreadsheets, lost vet records, and adoption contracts typed from scratch every time. SendMeHome.pet is rescue management software for small rescues. AI reads vet record PDFs and fills in vaccine dates and test results automatically. Generates adoption contracts. Manages fosters. Syncs to Adopt-a-Pet. $29/mo Starter · $59/mo Pro · Free 30-day trial, no credit card req.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Heather, the founder of SendMeHome.pet — and I built this because I lived the problem.
Last year I adopted a cat from Furry Friends Animal Aid, a small foster-based rescue. I fell in love with what they do and started fostering too. Before long I was also volunteering for everything else — making vet appointments, updating animal records, creating adoption contracts, posting on social media.
The rescue was tracking everything in spreadsheets, email and Google Drive. Vet records were PDFs buried in email. Adoption contracts were Word docs nobody could find. Every time a new foster asked about an animal's medical history, someone had to dig through three different places to find the answer.
I'm a technology consultant by day, so I built SendMeHome.pet. Not as a business idea — as a solution to something I was personally frustrated by every week.
The thing I'm most proud of is the one-stop-shop record with AI parsing and contract generation. It is also integrated with Adopt-A-Pet so we only have to post in one place (sendmehome.pet). You drag a vet record PDF onto an animal's profile and it reads the whole thing — pulls out the vaccine dates, test results, medications — and fills it all in automatically. Adoption contracts can be automatically generated from the organization's settings, animal's data and adopter information. For a small rescue where everyone is a volunteer, that time savings is real.
We're live with Furry Friends Animal Aid now and I'm opening it up to other rescues today.
If you run a rescue or know someone who does — I'd love to hear what you're currently using and what's driving you crazy about it. Happy to answer any questions below 🐾
