Most password managers keep your data in the cloud and charge recurring subscriptions. Selvum is a 100% offline password vault: No cloud - No servers - No account - No tracking Lose your phone? Recover your passwords on any browser using only your 12-word recovery phrase—even without Selvum. AES-256-GCM encryption. Android & iPhone. One-time payment (€19.90). Yours forever.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the creator of Selvum, and thanks for visiting our page.
I created Selvum because I wanted a password manager that was completely my own. Most password managers rely on cloud infrastructure and recurring subscriptions. They're convenient, but I kept asking myself: Why should my most sensitive data depend on someone else's servers or a monthly payment?
So I created something different.
Selvum is a 100% offline password vault. Your passwords, cards, notes, and recovery phrases remain encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM. There are no servers, no cloud account, and no tracking.
The feature I'm most proud of is the recovery system.
If you lose your phone, you won't be left without access. Selvum generates an HTML recovery kit that lets you decrypt your vault in any modern browser using just your 12-word recovery phrase. You don't need internet, installation, or even the Selvum app. I wanted recovery to be independent of our company, so you always maintain control of your data.
That same philosophy shaped the pricing: €19.90, once. Most subscription-based password managers charge €40+ a year — so this pays for itself before your first renewal would even hit, and then it's yours for good.
I'd love to hear your feedback.
