Am I the only one questioning the fact it's called "selfie" bot, when really it's nothing todo with selfies, rather just photos? No doubt it's smart, i like the product, just interested in the name..
@remotealex Hey Alex, the intention when choosing the name was that Selfiebot is a "device/machine" designed to help you taking selfies, just like you can do with a smartphone. It just provide a different type of user interaction to create a better experience in the context of a live event (for example less shaky pictures, better lighting, branding, etc). I hope it makes sense 😄
@enrico_penzo@remotealex it's like selfie mode on your camera. Just because the mode isn't take a photo of itself doesn't mean it's not delivering a selfie to the human :)

This looks awesome and thought out from a tech standpoint. I have spent a lot of time in the event industry owning a photobooth company, I am concerned that a drunk guest would knock it over or spill a drink on it.. Other than that.. super cool.
@ncklrs Thanks Nick for the great feedback. Selfiebot is very very hard to tip having a low center of gravity. It was tested during live events with not-so-sober NRL Rugby players in Australia :) The external powder coated aluminium surface protects the product electronics from liquids and can be easily cleaned
