Wondering if you’ve found “competition” (who is closer or “wins” at getting ready) to be a problem. I can imagine one of my kids getting frustrated at being “behind” the other one and stop getting ready.
Brilliant! The concept is great and the idea behind it - is for all the praise! ^_^ It is in the step with the time and technology shift/digitalization, and yet in the perfect balance with the humanity an family lives! Bravo, and congrats on the launch! ^_^

Love the app...Even if I am not a kid I am using the app daily...this is the exact type of app I was searching for years... This app have made my morning routine a consistent habit...And also I have a suggestion for your app...If we add some task on our own then that task has no icon and also we cannot add an icon to it from anywhere...so like if we can add icon to that it would look super cool...
What a great idea! I've just downloaded it and love the interface. If you are taking suggestions, we would love support for bedtime routines, that's always a tricky one for us too! Congrats on the launch!
@chris_nielsen hi there! yes, we downloaded right away last night and had them try it out this morning. I recommended it to another friend to try as well. I love trying new software and tools that can help improve my life/work and giving feedback. Do you have a public roadmap or place where I can submit feature requests? In the meantime, here is some feedback:
1. Is it possible to have the option to have separate timers for each kid? When we hit start, it starts the timer for both kids. I know you can hit pause, but my 7 yr old is usually the first one up every morning haha and she was so excited and came in to tell me that she was going to start her morning routine, but she didn't know to hit pause on her brother's routine. The kids both use different iPads but it seems to kick off the checklist and timer for both kids.
2. Some additional items to add for the morning: Pee/use the toilet (I know weird to have to add this on, I have it on my laminated list because the kids actually sometimes skip and just brush their teeth. And both my kids, age 5 and 7, asked me why that wasn't on the list today 😂). Others: put away pajamas, lotion/sunblock, ability to upload own image (e.g. for things like sunglasses, cap).
3. Love that when I set it up, I can say I want to copy the same list for the other kid. But when I want to add new jobs, I have to add them individually to each kid. I was going to delete and copy but didn't want to mess up the colors and avatar the other one had selected! Would be nice when you add a job, if it could ask, do you want to add to the other kids' list too?
4. Just wanted to say I love that we can pick which days it repeats for (weekend vs weekdays etc).
5. I also have laminated checklists for after school and bedtime routine. Would your team consider making a feature that allows multiple routines and they can pick the correct one to start? (e.g. put away jackets and shoes, put away lunch box, put away backpack, homework for after school and night time includes bath time, putting away dirty clothes, tidying, reading, etc)
6. I am super into checklists (for myself and the kids). I also like checklists for weekend/outing/overnight: pack own overnight bag, clothes, toothbrush, comb, a toy/game, swimsuit, etc. Maybe that is moving into packing list territory but it would be awesome to have it all in one place for the kids to be used to the interface and they can do it themselves! I like giving them the responsibility for these things because they can't blame me when they forget something.
I'm sure I'll run into more things and will let you know. If you can't tell, I love getting involved. If you have a beta testing team, I'd love to join it to test new features, etc.
@ph_leeanntrang Hi! Sorry for the late response, I stopped checking comments and missed this amazing one :)
I'm so glad you're going to try it out and I'd love to include you as a beta tester on future releases. Thanks for the detailed comments, I'm literally copy/pasting them to the backlog, fantastic ideas.
Let me know how your family goes! :)

I need this! My kids will love it! Gamification is the future, if not the present...
