Robot software brain for autonomous surveys, inspections, and manipulation in hazardous facilities. Instead of sending technicians in with handheld detectors and clipboards, an operator draws the route on a dashboard. The robot navigates, opens doors, turns valves, takes measurements, and returns a compliance-ready report with heatmaps and flagged risks. Hardware-agnostic, built on published research by PhD roboticists with a decade at Los Alamos. Deploy on your robot, or we provide one with it.

Salem Robotics
Hi everyone! 👋 Janak here, co-founder of Salem Robotics.
While working at Los Alamos deploying robots in nuclear facilities, we saw that radiation surveys are still done much the same way they were decades ago: technicians walk survey routes with handheld detectors and clipboards, then manually transcribe the data into digital systems later. It's slow, expensive, error-prone, and exposes people to unnecessary risk.
When we started talking to customers in commercial nuclear, oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, and other industrial sectors, we found the same story. Critical inspections and surveys are still largely manual.
That's why we started Salem Robotics. Our mission is simple: move people out of harm's way, let robots handle the repetitive, dangerous, and costly work, and free skilled workers to focus on the high-value decisions only humans can make.
We're looking for pilot sites where routine work is dangerous, expensive, or hard to staff. If someone comes to mind, please point them our way: engage@salemroboticsinc.com
We're excited to share what we've built and would genuinely love your feedback. Thanks for checking us out and supporting us on Product Hunt! 🚀
