As nomads ourselves, we know how stressful it can be to find the right medical provider abroad. Existing online reviews often leave us unsure about what the actual experience will be like, which is why we so often get asked for doctor recommendations in specific locations.
We’re excited to introduce the Nomad Care Map, a global directory where you can find verified, first-hand reviews from people who have actually received treatment at medical providers around the world.
You’ll also find details about services offered, estimated costs, and other helpful insights, all powered by anonymized community data. The number of medical providers keeps growing as we receive more user reviews.

@george_esther Thanks a lot for your question ! You'll see that there is no way to leave a review on on the Nomad Care Map — only SafetyWing users who have actually visited the medical provider will be prompted to leave a review.
That way, our platform will remain authentic and resistant to manipulation at scale — no fake reviews!

@vicnourrissat Congrats on the launch, This is such a valuable resource for digital nomads, finding reliable medical care abroad is always a huge challenge. Love that Nomad Care Map is built on verified, first-hand experiences rather than generic reviews.
Do you plan to expand it beyond medical providers maybe to include mental health or wellness services too? That could make it an even more holistic tool for nomads.

The Nomad Care Map includes mental health and wellness already, since SafetyWing covers many of such services including therapy, acupuncture, massages etc. Our map is growing with more providers every day, so I'm sure you'll find more of those soon. In a future iteration, we'd like to let users search by service, not just location. Stay tuned!
