Safely Finance helps renters move now and pay later. Most renters lock up $1K+ in deposits. That money should build wealth and credit, and pay for renters’ needs like furniture. Our Communities product directly embeds payment options into leasing experiences.
Congrats on launching the product. In highly competitive real estate markets like NY, SF, and Toronto, is not unheard of for landlords to ask for 2 or more months of rent upfront. That's a lot of cash that's locked in. Good luck!
Amazing! I wish I could have used Safely Finance when I was apartment hopping, moving can expensive really quickly. Excited to see this live, congrats team!
Thanks @inactive_user_ ! Many folks we've chatted with have mentioned spreading costs across multiple cards -- some even mentioned forgetting payments on cards they otherwise rarely use. Hopefully Safely Finance can help by directly funding move-in costs and working with renters to build a personalized plan with a single point of payment.

Just moved to San Francisco from New York recently and could definitely have used something like this to make the transition smoother. On a tight budget that's a lot of funds to lock up. If this would be helpful for me, I can see it being helpful for a lot of others, too.
@joe_ahearn_withfriends that's exactly why we're building Safely Finance. Thanks for the feedback and support 😄

Absolutely love this product, something I would've loved even with my most recent move and all the upfront fees and security deposits that came with it! I would heavily favor a building that has this payment option, seems like a win-win-win for the ecosystem.
Thanks @kevinsuh34 ! A lot of folks we've chatted with share your sentiment. Buildings offering easier, more tenant-friendly moving experiences will definitely win leases over outdated options. We appreciate your support 🔥 💯

Amazing team building an incredible product helping the next generation get on their feet financially.
Great job getting this up and running @rolanddeep and @jsoncorwin. I wish I had this when I was getting my first apartment after college! It was really hard to pay the security deposit when you are a broke college student.
