My Journey Building YouTube Learning Platform
As a self-taught developer from Nepal, I spent countless hours learning from YouTube — but kept losing track of progress and notes. The content felt scattered and unstructured, and I wanted a better way to learn actively.

🎯 The Problem
YouTube's passive watching makes it hard to track progress, take organized notes, or create structured learning paths. I set out to turn this into active, measurable learning.

🛠️ How It Evolved
It started with basic video progress tracking, then grew into timestamp-level progress tracking, rich notes linked to specific timestamps, customizable learning paths, offline storage, and cross-device sync.

I also built a full Courses page ith advanced filters (category, language, duration) and a Learning Paths page for creating and following structured curricula.
After 1,468+ hours of solo development, it now helps learners worldwide stay consistent and organized.

🚀 What's Next
I'm building a Chrome extension for seamless YouTube note-taking, adding social learning path sharing, a certificate system with PDF export, and expanding into a skills verification ecosystem.
