Check it out! And support open source!
Rysolv is a great place to earn money while helping out open source.

Great idea, wish you to grow! @themanmaran Would be great to add a feature to filter out issues by "My languages" on https://rysolv.com/issues screeen. So that automatic filter with only specified languages in user profile is applied.

@tinytoone it's in the works! Just raised an issue for it the other day: https://github.com/rysolv/rysolv... Thanks for the feedback!

The idea is ok, but bounties are so scarce for the amount of work required to solve that I really hesitate it's going to be successful, but i'd love to be wrong!!!

@manolinux agreed! But working hard to get some bigger bounties. Community supported issues are nice, but I'm really pushing to get some corporate sponsorship on issues. If you're entire business is dependent on open source software, it should be reasonable to give back.

Super cool idea, I think at its best it could serve as another way to sponsor open-source work. To that end, I think it would benefit more from the "Quora" model of just prompting the maintainers of the project directly. What do you do in the case where the solution turns out to be not in the form of a PR to the repo in question, but a simpler approach that can be conveyed verbally? Might create a strange incentive. Also, I'd hate there to be too cynical, but wouldn't want monied interest to drive to emerge as another "lobbyist wing" on open-source. That's a slippery slope argument, so I'm just entertaining it, don't take too serious.

@ebigram thanks for the feedback. In regards to non-PR solutions. We're working on a 'manual issue' option. Where anything can be a solution. We've already had a couple issues where the PR was just a detailed explanation of the fix. Balancing incentives is really important as well. I want to make sure that bounties are aligned with the direction the maintainers want to take the project. It's something I'll be paying very close attention to as we grow the site.
