A correct loss is worth more than a lucky win. Roast My Trades uses AI to review beginner traders' trades and deliver honest, actionable feedback to help them improve.
Hey everyone, I'm Chi, the founder of RoastMyTrades.com (Previously UXstamps & FigPrompt.com). When I started trading I made the same mistakes over and over and had no idea why - my journal was full of trades but empty on lessons. I wanted something that could look at a trade and just tell me straight what I did wrong and how to fix it, in language I actually understood. So I built it. I'd love to know: what's the one trading habit you wish someone had called you out on early? Your feedback will shape what I build next.
Side note: I really am not a fan of recording myself, so please excuse that long loom video where I'm rambling, paused too much AND can't seem to stay still...
Adding a feature to compare your trading patterns against successful traders in similar market conditions would be really helpful. Seeing how my entries and exits stack up against someone who actually has a track record would make the feedback feel even more grounded and actionable.
@rfanlt2k That's a fantastic idea! Compare and learn adds a nice new layer. Do you have any one particular in mind that we could check out? I imagine one of the problem we might have trouble getting access to successful traders that does it silently, or ones who only shouts about the good trades.
Still, i think there's a lot of potential here, will 100% look into this. Much appreciated!
Finally a tool that tells you what you did wrong instead of just showing you a pie chart of your wins. Tried it on a few of my recent entries and the feedback on my stop placement was actually spot on, going to keep using it.

honestly this is a solid idea for new traders like me who keep making the same mistakes. one thing that would help a lot is adding a way to track patterns over time, like showing which emotional or rule-based mistakes pop up most across multiple roasts so you can actually see progress.
The AI feedback actually called out my revenge trading pattern in a way that felt like a real mentor, not some generic pep talk. Impressive how blunt and specific the advice gets right away.
One feature that would help a lot is letting users tag the strategy they were testing for each trade, so the AI feedback can reference whether the setup actually matched their plan or if they deviated from it.
