You get a vague top 5 and then Wrapped comes around in December and everyone pretends to care about their stats for 48 hours. I wanted to check my stats whenever I wanted. How many times did I actually play that song? What does my genre breakdown really look like? Am I as musically diverse as I think I am? (Spoiler: I'm not. It's mostly black metal.) So I built rigtch.fm. It connects to Spotify, pulls your real data, and shows you the actual numbers. The AI roast was supposed to be a fun weekend experiment. It analyzes your full listening history and writes a personalized roast. Turns out people share their roasts way more than any stats page. One user got told they have "the musical range of a hotel lobby playlist" and posted it everywhere. It kind of took on a life of its own. The lifetime history import is what I'm most proud of technically. Spotify's API only gives you 50 recently played tracks.
