We're a unified API to build and maintain product integrations. At Revert, we are building the fastest way to integrate with CRMs (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc), accounting systems (Quickbooks, Zoho, Freshbooks, etc), file storage systems (Google Drive, Box, OneDrive etc), ticketing systems (Asana, Jira, Trello) etc. with a single unified API and a drop-in UI.
This is the 2nd launch from Revert. View more

Hello, Product Hunt! We're thrilled to be back! ✨ Revert is an open-source unified API that helps developers build flexible integrations with 3rd party APIs fast. Integrations are hard to build. They may seem like an easy project at the start, but once you delve into them you’d find - Unreliable end points - Varying rate limits of each API - Outdated documentation Once you’ve built them, maintenance of these integrations becomes a full time job as the APIs keep changing from time to time. This is why we built Revert. Through our unified API, you can build 100+ integrations in a matter of days. We manage OAuth, offer custom fields, and a scalable schema for you to build flexible integrations with third party tools. Roughly a year ago, we debuted on Product Hunt with a vision to make it faster to build CRM integrations with our unified API. Since then, we’ve been working with developers to be the best integration solution. We learnt the depth of this problem along the way. We realised developers spend too much time building and maintaining custom integrations. We also learnt that, CRM as a category is just one of the 8 that a B2B SaaS company would have on their integration roadmap. Integrations also take away valuable hours from building your core product. Building integrations is not just a engineering problem. Integrations are a big mover of revenues for GTM teams. Today, we are launching our API across categories - CRMs - Accounting softwares - Ticketing softwares - Applicant tracking systems (ATS) - Marketing automation platforms (MAP) - File storage - Messaging tools like Slack. Check us out - https://revert.dev/ Get in touch with us at jatin@revert.dev / allen@revert.dev to redeem the 3 months free offer! Would love to get the community's thoughts & feedback! 🙏 If you'd like an integration that you see missing let us know!

@jatinsandilya Congrats on the launch! It's impressive to see how Revert is simplifying the integration process across various software categories. Quick clarification question: When you mention "unified API," does this mean a single API endpoint can manage multiple integrations across different platforms like CRMs, ATS, and file storage? Or are there separate endpoints for each category?
Jatin Sandilya
@mocarg Great question! We create a single API endpoint for a category of software tools. So for CRMs it would be one. That being said, the OAuth and how we manage connections is the same across the board. This means once you have started using our APIs for one platform, it would be much easier to add another different platform category. Hope that helps! :)

Whoah! That's amazing, I'm trying this for Leapp and it could help so much! Kudos to the team! @jatinsandilya

@pethron Thanks so much! Happy to chat & help you at Leap :D

@jatinsandilya Hey Jatin. Congrats on the launch and supporting open source. this is grt to see. I could locate any documentation on MAP. Help me with that plz Also, is your documentation on Gitpages?

Woah, this is epic. >maintenance of these integrations becomes a full time job as the APIs keep changing from time to time. Love this pain point being identified. Congrats on your launch!

Love more open source tooling like this! Now i've got a clarification question tho: If i had a crm and an accounting tool would i be able to use you to sync these two?
Jatin Sandilya
@tangerine_pink Hi! Great question :) Yes. You will be able to. The only catch is that the api endpoints will be different for the two categories of software. But it will be seamless nonetheless :)
Tangerine
@jatinsandilya that's Great to hear! Usually working with the built in connections is wayy to limiting for some annoying reason. Or I am just an annoying customer 🫣
Jatin Sandilya
@tangerine_pink Haha, we're not a limiting API at all. :) Happy to chat if you're exploring building integrations.

Congatulations Jatin on the launch! Exciting to see Revert come together. I'm look forward to getting started when I build the first integrations in Papermark.io
Jatin Sandilya
@mfts0 Hell yeah! Happy to help when you do. Excited for Papermark.io! 🫶

Interesting Product. Are you using OpenAPI yaml to import new integrations? In your code I saw custom YAML(https://github.com/revertinc/rev...) to create these integrations, I think you import a lot more if you use OpenAPI standards. Very interesting product. Also if you want to monetize your APIs, let us know. I am working on magicapi.com and we can create an API store for you to easily sell API access.
Jatin Sandilya
@itsshashank Hi Shashank! Thanks for checking us out. Yes what we're using is actually OpenAPI compliant and can be converted to it. I'd love to learn what you're building as well.
Shashank Agarwal
@jatinsandilya Oh that's great. We are building MagicAPI, API Store management Software. We basically manage API stores for our customers. Sent you a message on twitter.
