Review HubSpot?
Reviewers largely see HubSpot as a strong all-in-one system for CRM, marketing, sales, and support, especially for tracking leads, running email sequences, managing pipelines, and reducing tool sprawl. Many say it is easier to use than Salesforce and particularly strong on marketing workflows. The tradeoff is complexity: users often describe the interface as busy, clunky, or over-engineered, with setup and customization taking work. Cost is the other recurring complaint, especially as teams scale or need more than the limited free plan.

We evaluated various CRM solutions, including HubSpot, which impressed us with its robust feature set and user-friendly interface. However, we also considered alternatives like Salesforce and Zoho CRM. While these options offered extensive capabilities, they were either more complex or came with higher costs than HubSpot. Ultimately, HubSpot’s balance of functionality and affordability made it the best fit for our needs, and its seamless integration with our systems streamlined our workflow effectively.

I'm not even sure what we'd do without Hubspot. All our email, customer support, customer records are here. It's so useful. One of the ways we use Hubspot is with a SmythOS agent that integrates with our TLDV note-taker. Once the transcript is ready, TLDV sends it to the agent, which then processes it and updates the Hubspot records. Because sales people suck at keeping records.

HubSpot’s CRM tools have been a game-changer for RepScout. They’ve made it easy to manage leads, track outreach, and automate follow-ups—all in one place. The intuitive interface and seamless integrations have helped us stay organised, improve response times, and ultimately grow our client base more efficiently.
What makes HubSpot stand out is that it genuinely eliminates the "tool chaos" problem. The fact that you can track a prospect from their very first click all the way to a closed sale, without switching tools, is a real operational advantage.

Curious — how are you handling the onboarding experience for teams coming from Salesforce?
vs Alternatives
Most business owners are juggling separate apps for CRM, email campaigns, and support tickets — HubSpot collapses all of that into one place, so leads don't fall through the cracks between platforms.
For small teams tired of tool chaos, HubSpot’s a total lifesaver! I used to jump between 3 apps for CRM, email campaigns, and support tickets—now it’s all in one. Yeah, the dashboard feels overwhelming at first (so many tabs!), but their onboarding checklists and pre-made templates got me set up in a day. Tracking leads from a prospect’s first click to sale? Chef’s kiss. My only gripe? The free plan’s pretty limited, but upgrading’s worth it if you want sales and marketing on the same page. No more lost data between tools—game-changer!

I've used HubSpot quite a bit, and I have to say, it's a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it's great having everything in one place - marketing, sales, customer service, the works. It's pretty user-friendly too, and the automation features are really handy. Plus, their customer support is top-notch.
But it's not all roses. The price tag can be a bit steep, especially if you don't need all the bells and whistles. And if you're looking to really customize things, you might find it a bit limiting. Setting it up can be a headache too, especially for more complex needs.

Favourite CRM system, I have implemented it all of 8 times. Using it for CRM, Revenue Architecture, Marketing Content Automations and Customer Success, and recently enamoured with the new AI ChatGPT connector allowing for analysing prompts, all projects I would have had to do manually before. Really awesome new feature.
I have worked with Salesforce before and Pipedrive. The first not intuitive enough, the latter good for sales, but not for marketing.
As a marketing lead for a content-heavy review site like RevistaPorta, HubSpot gives me exactly what I need in terms of lead nurturing and email workflows. It can feel a bit over-engineered for lean teams, but the CRM is rock-solid. Great for inbound, no doubt.
HubSpot is a versatile and user-friendly marketing automation platform with a robust suite of tools, but it may require a significant investment for businesses looking to unlock its full potential.

HubSpot is one of the most reliable, powerful platforms I’ve used across startups and growth-stage companies. From CRM to marketing automation, sales pipelines, and ABM tools in a single platform. It’s intuitive, integrated, and saves countless hours that would otherwise be spent stitching different tools together.
Have started using HubSpot again,
I forgot how useful the platform was for managing and tracking deals when doing outreach.
I also recently started reworking our Email Sequencing for automated contact with inbound leads, and the process has been pretty straightforward, and I recommend it to others.
HubSpot has been a great CRM for us at Morningmate and we have found it essential for managing our deals and managing email sequencing, however it can be slightly challenging to navigate due to the complexity of the platform, overall however its a good platform and offers a good range of features.
