I built recevo.io because most invoicing/expense tools start by asking you to create an account, enter your business details, and store financial data in another cloud database.
recevo.io takes a different approach: it is private, no-signup invoicing for independent workers.
You can create invoices and quotes, add your logo and branding, export PDFs, track expenses, view your live P&L, and export accountant-ready records - all in your browser.
The privacy model is the main difference. Your workspaces live locally in your browser, not in a central recevo.io invoice database. It also works offline after first load, or you can install it as a PWA.
The trade-off is intentional: there is no cloud sync or team workspace as recevo.io is intended for solo workers.
It is free forever, with no premium tier, no invoice limits, and no subscription.

I'm a UX freelancer and I was one of the very first beta users of this app... I've been using it for 2 weeks now :). It's more capable than an invoice template generator, much simpler than accounting software. Great work Matt, congrats on the launch! ❤️
