Quantive replaces the net worth spreadsheet for people who track finances manually across accounts and currencies. No bank connection: you upload an Excel spreadsheet or enter balances, and get allocation charts, forecasting, and multiple currencies with historically correct FX rates. The privacy is the differentiator: your portfolio is encrypted in your browser before anything reaches the server, which stores only ciphertext. Crypto module open source; the encryption design doc is public.

Hi PH! 👋
I'm Pedro, the solo founder.
I built Quantive because I tracked my net worth in a spreadsheet for years and got tired of maintaining it across accounts and currencies. But every app that would replace it wanted to connect to my bank through an aggregator that could read my whole financial picture. Quantive is the other trade-off: manual entry or Excel import, with real analytics on top (allocation, forecasting, multi-currency history), and your portfolio encrypted in your browser so the server only ever holds ciphertext. A database leak reveals nothing readable.
Apart from its privacy differentiating factor, we also defend transparency. So to be completely transparent: it does not defend against an actively malicious server (the inherent limitation of any browser-delivered E2E app), it has no native mobile app yet (the web app was also originally made to be responsive to mobile browsers), and it isn't third-party audited yet. It's not a budgeting or transaction tool either - it tracks wealth over years, not spending.
The fastest way to see it is the demo, no sign-up: [usequantive.app/demo]. The encryption design doc is public if you'd rather read the threat model than the marketing. Happy to answer anything - business model, the no-bank-connection decision, the cryptography, why it's bootstrapped and not VC-scale.
