👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m Zainul, and I’ve finally built something I’ve been thinking about since 2018. It’s called pwastore.io - a simple, open directory for installable web apps (think: apps you can open right from your browser and add to your home screen like native ones). Back then, I didn’t build it because the tech wasn’t ready - especially on iPhones. But over the past few months, I couldn’t shake the idea anymore. So last week, I decided to stop waiting and just build it. What makes it different? 🌍 Open directory – anyone can submit an app with just a link 🔓 No authentication – no sign-ups or logins needed 💸 Completely free – funded from my own pocket 🚫 No restrictions – apps won’t be removed unless truly necessary You can browse apps, open them instantly, and install them - all without app stores or downloads. I’ve always believed useful tools should stay open and accessible.
