I was inspired to build this after Google removed the ability to freely upload and place photospheres in Street View, which broke a simple but important workflow for photographers, virtual tour creators, and businesses. The problem I wanted to solve was giving creators back a reliable, location-accurate way to publish and manage 360° images without fragmented tools or loss of control. As I worked on the launch, the approach evolved from a basic upload-and-publish tool into a more complete workflow: resilient large-file uploads, precise map-based placement, EXIF repair, and preview. Each challenge pushed the product toward being more robust and creator-friendly, while keeping the core goal intact—making photosphere publishing simple, accurate, and fully user-controlled.
