Check flood, wildfire, earthquake, PFAS, water quality, air quality, toxic-site, and weather-alert risk for US ZIPs and addresses — with a web tool and JSON API built from public government data.

Love how many risk factors you cover in one place, especially the PFAS and toxic-site layers which are usually buried elsewhere. One thing I'd find really useful is a side-by-side compare for two or three ZIPs at once so you can weigh neighborhoods against each other when relocating.
@sedatyeew Thanks Sedat PFAS and toxic-site data being buried across separate sources was one of the main reasons I built this. We already have a side-by-side comparison tool at https://protectmyzip.com/compare, but your point about comparing two or three exact ZIPs during relocation is especially useful.
honestly super useful, i checked my zip and it pulled wildfire and air quality data in like two seconds, way faster than digging through government sites myself
@budakcnuri97568 Thanks Nuri! Reducing the time spent jumping between FEMA, EPA, USGS and other government sources is really the core idea. Glad the ZIP check felt fast and immediately useful.
Pulled up my mom's ZIP and the wildfire layer was honestly more useful than I expected, basically exactly the kind of stuff you wish Zillow showed you. Wish the air quality breakdown went a little deeper though.
@sinemb27 Thanks Sinem, that “what you wish Zillow showed you” point is exactly the gap I was trying to address. And the air-quality feedback is useful, would historical trends, pollutant-level detail, or wildfire-smoke context be the most valuable addition for you?
