Project Commander reads your Jira project and answers one question: can this be delivered in the time and capacity you have? See who is overloaded, which dependencies threaten the date, and what happens if you change the plan. Free while in beta. Coming soon: a Timeline tab — a Gantt drawn from the forecast, not dragged by hand.

Hi everyone — I'm Don, I built this.
I kept watching teams commit to dates in Jira that the numbers never supported. The plan looked fine issue by issue; it was only in aggregate, weeks later, that it turned out there was more work than there was capacity to do it in.
Project Commander reads the project you already have in Jira — sprints, issues, people, estimates, time tracking and the links between issues — and answers one question: can this be delivered in the time and capacity you have? It shows the forecast finish date with its odds, who is overloaded, which dependencies threaten the date, and what happens to the date when you change the plan.
You can click straight into a sample project without signing up for anything — the button on the home page. It's free while it's in beta and it runs inside Jira as well as on the web.
I'd like to know whether the first screen tells you what you need in the first ten seconds, and what you'd want it to say instead. I'll be here all day.
