👋 Hey Product Hunt, I built problems.live because I kept noticing the same thing: people complain about the same problems constantly — in group chats, on Twitter, in Slack DMs — but that frustration usually just disappears. Nobody knows how many other people are facing the exact same problem. So nobody builds for it, and nobody knows whether there's real demand. problems.live is a public directory of real problems. * Post a problem — not a feature request, not a solution disguised as a problem, just the actual difficulty you're facing. Anonymous posting is supported. * "I have this too" — a simple validation signal that shows how many people are experiencing the same problem. * Discuss and propose solutions — every problem has a threaded discussion where people can share ideas, existing solutions, or advice. The community can mark solutions as helpful. * Trending and categories — discover problems based on how many people are experiencing them, rather than who posted about them the loudest. It's fully open source under the MIT license and built with Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Google OAuth. No ads. No dark patterns. No paywalled data. The idea is simple: make real problems visible so people can discover them, validate them, discuss them, and potentially build solutions around them.
