There are 5 problems I wanted to solve with Prime Timer:
1. I wanted to have a progress bar on the Lock Screen that visualizes the percentage of the remaining time. The iOS timer doesn't have that.
2. I wanted to have a super minimalist, but beautiful UI: nothing on screen but the timer.
3. I didn't understand the necessity for leading zeroes that almost every timer comes with. So I dropped it. In Prime Timer, 00:07 is simply 7.
4. The time spinner wheel in the iOS timer has always been frustrating me when setting larger units, like 45min. I wanted to find a quicker and more satisfying way to set the time.
5. I wanted to be able to open or toggle the timer with a button in Control Center in order to always have quick access to it.
Are these problems you can relate to? Would you permanently switch to this app from the built-in timer? What's missing? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
