Polym is an audio app incorporating active learning for the retention of foundational knowledge, including statistics, logic, economics, AI, history, and more. The app utilizes retrieval practice, spaced repetition, and interleaving to enhance memorization.

Hey everyone,
In the early days of the internet, many believed that having all the world’s information at our fingertips would usher in a new golden age of intelligence.
That hasn’t exactly turned out to be the case.
Today, however, the combination of learning research and modern technology positions us to address some of the greatest challenges of our time, or at the very least perform at a higher level than ever before.
We don’t come at this with blind optimism, the opposite can easily be true. Those who continue to offload critical thinking to LLMs will fare even worse in the future.
At the risk of sounding dramatic, which path are you going to take?
The one where you have stronger reasoning abilities than any previous generation through:
• Consistent active learning
• Focus on foundational knowledge
• Use of spaced repetition
• Interleaving of ideas
Or the one research shows is currently occurring with critical thinking:
• Cognitive atrophy
• Memory weakening
• Reduced skepticism
Either way, it’s up to you.
In celebration of our Product Hunt launch, our free plan is even more generous (includes indie hacker essentials). Start listening in seconds. Available on iOS and Android.
Congratulations! Great idea and love the execution, very clean UI!

Love this concept—bringing active learning techniques like retrieval practice and spaced repetition into an audio format feels super innovative. It’s such a great way to make foundational knowledge stick while learning on the go. Excited to see how Polym shapes the future of learning!
@chilarai Thank you, we couldn't find audio active learning anywhere, so had to build it!

@matthewlls sounds really good. Best of luck
Congratulations! The interface looks exceptionally polished and intuitive
That sounds really cool! Great idea of learning through audio.
I love this product. I was an avid user of Brilliant but always struggled with its rigidity. I might have to do 1 hour of study to get the 5 minutes of info I wanted to learn and focus on.
In looking for a tool that would let me improve knowledge but on topics and in a style that was more tailored to my current needs, I came to Polym.
Achieves all this in a great package. Bravo, guys!
