Polygraph is a game changer for collaboration, both internal in the org and external (e.g. customers, OSS teams). For OSS bug fixes, I use one prompt to link all relevant repos together (ours, upstream, repro), and the agent pinpoints exactly where the issue is. I can hand off my investigation to another developer by sending them the Polygraph session, and without needing to waste time on a Zoom call or Slack DM, they can take over completely by asking questions in the resumed session.

I'm always working on 5+ things at the same time, and it's nice to know that with Polygraph, I get perfect memory when resuming a task. No more needing to maintain my own system to store memory, collect task files, etc. Everything just works out of the box with Polygraph.

I highly recommend any team looking to boost productivity to try out Polygraph.

What needs improvement

Ways to leave reviews for pull-requests, interact with Linear tickets directly from Polygraph. Also attach misc assets, like images, docs, links to Claude Design project, etc. that are relevant for the session.

vs Alternatives

I have my own system that works fairly well, but when it comes time to collaborate with others it's a bit clunky. Passing markdown files around for context works okay, but without also sharing my exact AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md and skills, other developers will have wildly different experience "resuming" my session.

Polygraph has changed the way that I work on all of my projects. Instead of needing to manually maintain clones of my OSS dependencies, I can have up-to-date context pulled in as-needed thanks to its understanding of how all my different projects relate to one another. This made a process that was brittle and annoying to work with super easy and streamlined.

What needs improvement

Let's get even more harnesses supported!

vs Alternatives

My manual setup was 'working', but only as much as I wanted to maintain it. With Polygraph I can defer all of that madness to the tool and get back to building.

What's great

I've used Polygraph internally at Nx for the six weeks or so to build @Nx and its been absolutely wonderful. While especially useful when touching multiple repos, most of my usage has been when working in a single repo (nrwl/nx) and I've still found good value. Sharing polygraph sessions instead of direct PR links helps peers understand more context about why certain bits have changed, and polygraph enables reviewers to "resume" the claude/codex/etc session that produced the PR to interrogate why an agent made certain decisions.

While this doesn't replace human review, its been a fantastic aid during the process.

What needs improvement

The main improvements that come to mind are features that could be cool in the future, the core functionality is here at this point and works pretty well. I'd love to see more integration for the review portion of the dev lifecycle as an example :)

Polygraph is my go to now, I don't even bother running Claude Code directly, just `polygraph session start` and I have better primitives, the ability to query any knowledge from all my connected repo without even selecting anything, and persistent sessions with better discovery. It is like if everything is magically connected together and ready on time for the Agent to find the right information at the right time.

That's a no brainer.

What needs improvement

The team is improving daily on Polygraph, the few improvements I had in mind already shipped few days ago.

vs Alternatives

Finding a meta-harness that understands monorepos while also handling multiple repos transparently is really hard. So far, no other product like this exists.

I've been using Polygraph for the past few weeks and while I mostly work on a single repo, its session sharing capabilities and the ability to pull other repos into context has been invaluable. While building @Nx, I often need to work on features and/or bug fixes that require deep knowledge from OSS tools Nx supports, and Polygraph makes it so easy to work with those repos pulling them into session for whatever agents I'm using.

This has been even better when I've had to implement changes, or investigate, or design across different repos.

The ability to link other sessions (mine or from teammates) is also a great feature that lead to better results due to agents having much better context.

What needs improvement

I'd love to be able to review changes made in a session directly from the Polygraph app without having to go to GitHub.
