Hello Product Hunt! 👋
I am a 22 year old solopreneur and self-taught developer from Australia.
I loved the stock market from a young age and came to realise that most people do not invest in the market until much later in life. After working in the advice industry for two years, I saw how the cost of advice (in my country at least) prevents young people from getting the guidance needed to help them through those beginning stages.
Robo Advisors solve this problem by offering managed investment portfolios. However, if you love the stock market, like me, this is no fun! 😴
So I wanted to create a solution that utilises new AI technology for an interactive investing experience, where the user is involved in the decision-making.
I hope that Pocket Adviser can be a helping hand for young investors, or offer the necessary encouragement to get started. I also hope that it can be a catalyst for change in the industry, by demonstrating how technology can be used to better service my generation.

Hey Lachie, love the idea of Pocket Adviser! As someone who's into the stock market but doesn't have much experience, this sounds super helpful. Quick question, does it require any prior investment knowledge to use? Congrats on the launch!

@robertthomas2 Thank you! No, you don't need any prior knowledge to use it. I have tried to make it as beginner friendly as possible, and address the knowledge gaps I remember having when I was starting out.
