@rrhoover Thanks for asking. Well, I just love building for new interesting platforms I guess. I had never built a game before, so wanted to take a shot. The Playdate is just such a charming device, it felt like a great system to build for. And it has honestly been incredibly good for the soul. As a platform, the Playdate reminds me of the good ol' days where you could write code that puts pixels on the screen exactly how you want, then zip it up and share it online. Far less complexity. Nearly 100% of my time was spent building Playmaker vs other platforms where I spend far more time wrestling with the environment. Also, um, I just couldn't help but wonder if you could use a crank for drawing—It works well! Never been easier to draw curvy shapes. :D Hope that answers your question!

@emily_matick Thank you! I know it's for an unusual platform, but if you like Kid Pix I promise you'll enjoy the Playdate and Playmaker. Always open to feedback if you end up wishing Playmaker did more or worked differently. :)
