Hey PH! 👋🏽 I’m excited to share Playlo, a new app I have launched to turn music discovery into a game! After getting frustrated with how hard it is to find fresh music and emerging artists on traditional platforms, I decided to create something better. By curating songs from over 100 diverse sources, Playlo brings together the best underground music across 12 genres. The app gamifies music exploration, allowing users to rate tracks and compete with their favorites. The best part: every month, those whose songs make it to the Top 10 are rewarded with money. The app sets itself apart from traditional streaming platforms by focusing on emerging artists rather than mainstream hits. By highlighting lesser-known talent, the app allows users to discover hidden gems, ensuring that the competition remains fun and unpredictable. Early feedback and numbers have been amazing! In less than two months, I reached 2,000 active users organically during the Beta phase, with an average session duration of over 1 hour per user.
