Review Plausible Analytics?
Reviewers mostly see Plausible Analytics as a clean, fast, privacy-focused alternative to Google Analytics that is easy to set up and good enough for everyday traffic tracking. Users repeatedly praise its simple interface, bot filtering, cookie-banner removal, and smooth use across personal sites, client sites, static sites, and Next.js. Some say reporting is basic but acceptable for core needs. The main criticism is that documentation can be outdated and support unhelpful, with one reviewer arguing the limited features and support do not justify the price.

Basic feature are in place. But documentation is lacking and in some areas the information (like for the goals) is outdated. Support provides... wel no support. We also have an issue were we got a lot of 404 pages, contacted support about this and provided with 11-12 date/times/screenshots but they simply said: we dont know.
A shame, it seems like a good product but support and the feature doesnt explain the price.
Its basically just an open source script with a fancy site

Thanks for the feedback Dominick and sorry that you didn't have a nice experience with Plausible!
As discussed when you contacted our support, our developers tried to locate the issue you reported about your browser frequently deleting our cookie so you had to log in to your account again but we were not able to discover anything. We're keeping an eye on it and there has been no other reports of this which makes it difficult for us to troubleshoot. Sorry again!
Other than that, we do have very fast and responsive customer support and we keep our docs as detailed and up to date as possible so if you do have an example of what goal info is outdated, please do share and we will fix immediately. Thanks!
Plausible is what we switched to after leaving Google Analytics. I set it up for a few client sites. My team likes how clean and privacy-first it feels. Some reporting features are basic, but the core experience is solid. It’s simple and transparent.

Plausible Analytics is a web analytics tool that stands out for its focus on privacy and transparency. What impresses me most about Plausible is its commitment to helping people safeguard their online privacy by offering an ethical alternative to traditional analytics solutions. Their transparent business model and user privacy focus are a breath of fresh air in the web analytics industry. This approach has deeply inspired me and motivated me to seek ways to apply similar principles in my digital marketing studio. Plausible demonstrates that it is possible to gain valuable insights without compromising user privacy, and that's something I aim to integrate into my own professional practice.

Honestly, it was a huge relief to drop Google Analytics and pick up some simpler tool that work out of the box. It's pretty simple but enough for my needs of tracking traffing on my personal website and small commercial products. Also I really like that it excludes the bot traffic by default.

Works great, super fast, and allowed me to remove the cookies banner on my websites. Been using the community edition (for personal sites) as well as the paid one (for professional ones), super happy with both options.
I use it to track traffic on my personal website and small commercial products, and it works well for me. Furthermore, I like that it automatically excludes bot traffic.
Does just what is says on the can! The first-party tracking with a custom subdomain works really well too. I've integrated with static sites and Next.js
Best analytics app that is both Privacy and Performance friendly. Provides every essential metric of your site to get an idea of every visit happening on your site. The best alternative to Google Analytics.

Plausible is handling all of our page stats and link tracking. We're thrilled with their API and security, ease of use, and scalability for what we're building. They came highly recommended and it's easy to see why. Super easy to use!
