I use Pirsch now for 8 months and I really like it. Requirements I had: - GDPR, privacy focused - Well designed, smooth UX/UI I considered (and tried) other "indie" options, but Pirsch stood out. Pricing is fair, with a lot of solutions the entry is affordable like Pirsch, but if you go over a threshold you suddenly pay 10x (while not getting 10x traffic). With Pirsch you can upgrade your plan, based on your traffic for reasonable prices. Another thing that stands out is the filtering option. Based on url patterns you can have conversion goals. I run Pirsch on zwemindex.nl where I have patterns like zwemindex.nl/amsterdam/binnenzwembaden, zwemindex/rotterdam/binnenzwembaden. I can easily filter on the 2nd part of the url with a wildcard (*), so I can see how many people look for inside pools. All parts are very configurable for custom situations. From a developer perspective I love those options and the documentation. Besides it the product, they are also very quick with their responses. Questions are answered mostly within one, two days.
Review of Pirsch Analytics
Great lightweight analytics that gives you a pease of mind. Used it for a couple of projects and love it. The only thing I would improve are complex filters. LIke filtering for country + page + source or other combinations. The way the filters are build now is very intuitive but on the other hand quite limited.
