Pixelarticons is a hand-crafted pixel icon system in three sets: Base (4159 icons, 4 styles), Mini (409 on an 8×8 grid), and Prime (201 detailed). 816 free under MIT, the rest one-time with lifetime updates. SVG, Figma, IconJar. No subscriptions, no AI tracing.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Gerrit, and I've been hand-drawing Pixelarticons one pixel at a time. No AI, no auto-tracing: every icon placed by hand on a strict grid. There are three sets today:
Base: 4,159 icons on a 24×24 grid, in four styles (base, sharp, glyph, solid)
Mini: 409 tiny icons on an 8×8 grid, built for dense UIs and game HUDs
Prime: 201 higher-fidelity icons for hero moments and marketing
816 Base icons are free forever under MIT: just npm install pixelarticons. The full sets are a one-time purchase with lifetime updates (no subscriptions), and there's a Complete bundle with all three.
I'd especially love your feedback on the new Mini and Prime styles.
What would you draw next? AMA 🙂

@halfmage For what to draw next, have you considered adding more specific icons for AI Agents or LLM-related workflows? Feels like there’s a big need for those in the 'vibe coding' space right now!
@zeng Will go directly to the next-release icon list. Thanks Zeng!
Congratulations Gerrit on the launch!
Our designers been using your pixel art icons across a few of our projects, and they’ve held up good in production.👍
The grid consistency makes everything feel clean, and they stay sharp even at small sizes.
They add just enough character without making the UI feel noisy. Nicely done. Thank you!

Huge congrats on the launch, Gerrit! It’s incredible seeing how much detail you’ve put into these, knowing you’ve drawn every single one by hand makes them feel so much more special than standard icon sets. The new Mini and Prime styles look fantastic. Can’t wait to see how these get used out in the wild!
