Hey there, I’m Aike, one of the creators of Pitchlane! How it got started 🚀 3 months ago Max, Niklas, and I were helping two startup founders from Berlin with improving their cold outreach as part of a freelance project. One idea we came up with during this process was to create a personal Loom video for each of their prospects in order to cut through the noise of their inboxes. The idea seemed promising, so we got started recording video after video to send out as part of a campaign. After doing this for a whole day, we realized that the videos we created were almost completely identical. We started them by showing the prospect’s LinkedIn profile and explaining how we found them, then we switched to the company’s website to explain their value proposition, and finally offered to explain the product further in a demo call. We did these same three things for every single video. The Idea 💡 This is when we started wondering: Is there a way to automate the video creation? 🤔 Two days later we knew the answer was YES. We had built our first MVP and it was a huge success for our client, so we decided to turn Pitchlane into a thing.
