Dograh started as a Pipecat fork. The pipes structure let us compose the agent runtime - STT, LLM, TTS, interruption handling - without rebuilding the real-time layer ourselves. We added a visual workflow builder on top and shipped in weeks instead of quarters. Still the cleanest foundation for open-source voice agents.
