I think that when calculating founder equity, it's best to start equal if you think the other parties will give equal effort. If not, then you may wish to reconsider making them a co-founder. The allocation of equity gets a lot more interesting when you consider approving the vested equity i.e. over time, has the co-founder actually put in the work and generated the results matching the equity in the company?

I think it's a great starting point for newly formed startups who might have no clue where to start! Not sure about the name tho ^^
