Hi @davemorin - sorry about that! We've been trying different approaches to help people who sign up as one of the first of their company to have some content ready to play with. Having the content show that we used to explain how Pie works on first use, was something that worked well for that. That content was never meant to be posted permanently - we changed it, so this should not happen again.
@clarklab Ooh. Love that - we'll be rolling out a good number of small things that will make the chat quite a bit better, like showing you were you last left off in the conversation. 'Read receipts' is not in there yet, but we'll explore.
@andrea_sdl Angular was fantastic for us. There are many good alternatives, like Ember for example, but Angular in particular made the relationship between our front end and API development so much faster.
@thijsjacobs yeah, my experience has been that creating content on behalf of a user is usually a bad idea. We saw this a lot on Facebook Platform and ultimately made a policy against it because users would get so upset about it.
@davemorin absolutely! We iterated a lot on this and I think we now landed somewhere where we give you enough to get into Pie easily, without the negatives (like seeing any sample content inside your Pie). Really appreciate your thoughts and thanks.
