Women's strength tracker that programs around your cycle

Most training plans treat every week the same. Your body doesn't. Phase reads your cycle from Apple Health and reshapes your program around it: build through your follicular phase, peak in your power window, ease volume through PMS, deload near your period. Underneath it's a full strength tracker — plate math, rest timer, RPE, e1RM, automatic PR detection — plus a complete Apple Watch app. Your cycle data never leaves your iPhone. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no server to leak it.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
Phase started with a frustration I couldn't explain away: some weeks a lift felt easy, and two weeks later the same weight felt impossible. Same program, same sleep, same food.
Turns out that pattern isn't random. Strength and recovery shift across the menstrual cycle — estrogen peaks in the late-follicular and ovulatory phases line up with higher power output, and the luteal phase tends to bring lower recovery. But no app was doing anything with that. Period apps predict bleeding and stop there. Lifting apps program in a straight line as if every week is identical. Half the population was training on plans built for the other half.
So Phase lives in between: it reads your cycle from Apple Health, then reshapes your program around it — build through follicular, peak in your "power window," pull volume back in luteal, deload near your period.
Two things changed a lot while building it:
1. It had to be a real tracker first. Early on it was a cycle overlay bolted onto training, and it felt like a gimmick. Nobody switches trackers for a gimmick. So Phase now stands on its own — plate math, rest timer, RPE, e1RM, automatic PR detection — with the cycle intelligence layered on top.
2. The e1RM chart became the whole product. A strength chart colored by cycle phase. The first time you see your PRs cluster inside your power window, the idea stops being a theory and becomes obvious. That chart sold the concept better than any copy I wrote.
On privacy: cycle data never leaves your device. No accounts, no ads, no analytics — everything stays on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud. I don't run a server that could leak it, which felt non-negotiable for this category.
iPhone + Apple Watch, live on the App Store now.
I'd genuinely love to hear from lifters here: have you noticed your strength moving in a pattern you couldn't explain? And for the makers — how do you handle building in a space where the science is real but still evolving?
