Hey Product Hunt ๐
I built PayPilot because chasing clients for money is the worst part of freelancing. You finish the work and send the invoice. Then you're stuck writing "just checking in" emails and feeling awkward about it.
So PayPilot sends those emails for you.
Here's how it works:
Connect Polar.
1. Polar handles the card payments. Your clients pay into your Polar account, and you withdraw to your bank.
2. Add an invoice.
Put in the client, the amount and the due date, then turn on reminders. By default it emails them 3 days before the due date, then 7 and 14 days late.
3. Your client pays, and the reminders stop.
Every email has a pay link. When they pay, the invoice is marked paid and the rest of the reminders are cancelled. So nobody gets an awkward follow-up after they've already paid.
It's free for 14 days, and you don't need a card. The trial covers one client, so you can try it on a real invoice.
This is my first launch, so I'd really like your feedback. What would stop you from using this? And if you already chase invoices some other way, how do you do it?
I'll be here all day answering questions. Thanks for checking it out ๐
