Pet-sitting services today can cost as much as $1,000/week, why not have pet parents help one another? Users on Pawsible can browse nearby pet parents who are willing to pet-sit mutually. They send an invite, schedule a pet-sit and return the favor when free.

@busmark_w_nika We definitely want to implement that once we have some sitting events scheduled! We are now in the process of implementing user verification with a video taken with their pets, and we give them a badge once verified! We definitely can do a lot more on the security side, such as insurance coverage - but we are still at a mvp stage and not enough fundings to do things like those yet but we are working on it!

It sounds like a great idea! Sometimes, I think pet owners are burdened with too many costs, like care fees, hospital bills. and so on.

@kay_arkain Thank you! That's how we started this project - we have cats and we travel a lot, and it became too expensive to use paid pet sitters, and we went out of way to find pet parents nearby to exchange help. :)

@katy_wirz Yes it is deployed in Europe as well! Since this is still MVP, we haven't done enough marketing in Switzerland to have enough users yet. Would love to get your feedback on the product and how you think we should should do marketing in Switzerland! We are rolling out user verification features now so verified users get a blue badge, this will deployed this month!
Love this idea. Could imagine using it even during the work day so our dog has a buddy while we're gone. Congrats on the launch!

Cool! As a dog owner this is something I could see myself using a lot. You guys should check out https://pethotel.io/en, a similar concept that is growing here in Finland.

@robert_holmberg We haven't learned about pethotel, we will look into it! We mainly looked into Rover, Wag, Meowtel, Petsmart boarding etc, mostly based in the US. This helps a lot thank you!

Love the idea!😄 As a dog lover myself, i always wanted a product like this. But all in all, the pet sitters' training, management and screening is very important to the whole experience. Looking forward to the new launch!

@lesley_liu2 Those are very solid points. We are still at MVP stage, user verification/reviews are indeed important for pet sitting, those are brought up again and again in our meetings as well! Thank you :)
