Simply to satisfy my own clipboard efficiency needs. There are already many clipboard tools on the market, but I have found that most of them still require the use of a mouse during the daily copying and pasting process, which is extremely annoying. Either I have to click to search or I have to click to switch types. Some of them have a very rich set of shortcut keys, but I can't remember them all. How could I possibly remember so many shortcut keys? In the end, it often becomes a mouse operation. Therefore, PasteQ mainly satisfies my two needs: search and switch types. I don't need to use the mouse for copying and pasting, and I can use whatever shortcut keys to prompt me automatically. I don't need to remember, and I naturally remember when I get used to it. Another small requirement is that I occasionally need to make some simple edits to the clipboard content, so it also supports recording and editing. Other preview URLs, shortcut keys to open URLs, and pictures, etc., I have also supported.

@allen_xuxu It definitely makes sense that having a tool with shortcuts would be beneficial, especially when trying to remember multiple ones.

Congrats on the launch! Curious how this compares to something like Pasta
Allen Xu
@gabe PasteQ focuses more on search, copy and paste quickly and easily. Pure shortcut key operation and automatically prompt you for shortcut keys, no need for users to remember.
