This started unintentionally.
My Oman trip got cancelled, I got sick, and ended up at home for the weekend. I was already using Cursor to work on my startup when I decided to read a machine learning paper and immediately caught myself fidgeting, wanting to ask questions as I read.
That is when it clicked. Reading is still a passive experience. PDFs do not let you think out loud, ask why, or build understanding as you go.
So I put together something for myself. A way to highlight text, ask questions as you go through the document, and turn a paper into an interactive conversation instead of a static PDF.
I called it Parho. Parho means read in Urdu, and it felt like the right name for something meant to make reading more active.
Built it because I wanted it. Sharing it now to see if others feel the same.
