Every account you create, every service you sign up for, every online purchase is connected to your email address. Most people have 100+ accounts they've forgotten about, creating security risks and privacy exposure. Paperweight scans your inbox to map your digital footprint, then helps you take back control and delete your data. Features - Bulk Unsubscribe - Breach Alerts - Account Inventory - GDPR Deletion - Privacy-First - Open Source Respects your privacy. All data stays on your computer.

And can the AI automatically send deletion requests on my behalf to a service? For example, if it found 50 services and I selected 45, could it automatically send a deletion request to all of them or even delete them itself? Is that possible?

@natalia_iankovych you can unsubscribe in bulk. For GDPR requests, I'd actually not advise to do automated/in bulk as there can be legitimate, or legal grounds on why your data is there. The app helps provide guidance and draft the requests that are possible, but I would recommend to verify manually for better success with DPOs. Just published a guide on it https://www.paperweight.email/guides/how-to-exercise-your-gdpr-rights
Wanted to test the free version but None of the 3 download buttons I tried on the site worked. I Enjoy the idea behind this one. I get incredibly frustrated with email spam, and like you mentioned, fear how many accounts I have out on the internet (very likely a couple hundred). In the future would you make a mobile version of this?

@derek_curtis1 thank you! Not sure why the downloads not work, I'll do some more testing, but alternatively can download directly from Github https://github.com/wslyvh/paperweight/releases
Hope that helps!
RE Mobile apps, maybe. Thanks for the request. I know desktop Apps aren't the most common. But depending on your mailbox, you might be processing significant amount of data/resources. Without any back-end services, desktop gives a little better flexibility to run in the background. And 2) a desktop App is the only truly privacy-friendly option here as you don't have to rely on App stores either. It might be a fine trade-off tho, as you likely already trust your mobile OS to have access via some other email client?
Opened a Github issue to track https://github.com/wslyvh/paperweight/issues/30
Does it actually delete accounts for you or just surface them? Great tool btw!

@aanchal_dahiya unsubscribing is immediate and can be done in bulk. Deleting accounts/data depend on the controller. Paperweight helps you exercise your rights under GDPR and send out the requests. Officially, companies have 30 days to reply, but the experience so far is that most delete within days.
@wslyvh ah got it!

It errors out when you try and connect your email account because your app is not verified by Google.

@paulgeller I assume you mean the warning page? You can click Advanced then Go to Paperweight (unsafe). Google verification is still pending and hope to finalize by end of the month or early next. Should've shared that, my bad!
