I'm the solo founder behind PaisaProof.
Backstory: I spent ₹499 on Blinkit at 11pm and never thought about it again — until I built an app that wouldn't let me forget it.
Most finance apps show you a chart next month, after the money's already gone. PaisaProof catches the UPI or card payment notification the moment it happens and asks one calm question: did you mean to spend this? Then it shows what that amount becomes if you'd invested it instead.
A few things I care about that shaped how it's built:
No bank login, no manual entry — it just reads the payment notification you already get.
Everything runs on-device. No raw SMS or notification data ever leaves your phone.
It never counts a spend as "saved" unless a refund is actually verified — no inflated numbers.
You earn rewards for the spends you skip, not just guilt-trip stats.
It's live on the Play Store now, and it's early. I'd rather have 20 people telling me what's broken than 2,000 silent installs. If you try it, I read and reply to everything myself.
