Does anyone actually want their spending decisions interrupted — or just explained?
Hey PH — I'm Ashutosh, building PaisaProof (launching here Sept 16).
The problem I'm chasing: most finance apps tell you what you already spent. PaisaProof tries to catch UPI/card payments the moment they happen and give you one calm beat to reconsider — no bank login, fully on-device.
A commenter on Indie Hackers asked me something I still can't fully answer: do people adopt something like this because it calculates opportunity cost (a good mirror), or because it actually changes behavior at the moment of temptation (a real brake)? I have early testers now and I'm trying to find out honestly, not just hype it.
If you've built or used anything that tries to intervene at the moment of a decision rather than after it, I'd love to hear what worked and what didn't. And if you want to try PaisaProof before launch day, happy to get you early access — just say so below.
