Client finally paid me 43 days late and I'm tired Wrapped up a full brand + digital ad project back in May. Logo, ad creative, all of it. $2,300 invoice, sent on time. Due date comes and goes. Nothing. I wait a few days so I don't look impatient, then send the "hey just following up" email. Friendly. Casual. Nothing back. A week later, another one. Slightly less friendly this time but still trying not to sound like a jerk since I actually liked this client and want more work from them. Another week goes by. Now I'm sitting there rewriting the first line of an email four times because I don't want to sound like I'm accusing anyone of anything, even though at this point I kind of am. 43 days after the due date it just... gets paid. No explanation. No sorry for the wait. Just a payment notification like nothing happened. Honestly the late payment doesn't even bother me that much anymore. What gets me is being my own collections department every time. I like designing stuff and building campaigns that actually work. I do not like drafting increasingly less patient emails wondering if I'm being too pushy or not enough. So I built a small tool for myself called PaidYet that just handles the follow up part. You give it the invoice, it sends reminders on a schedule that gets firmer over time, and it stops the moment you mark it paid. It also sends from a "billing" name instead of my personal email so I'm not the one nagging anymore, it just is.

@bfirzevic25981 When building your PaidYet campaign it takes into account either links or pdf invoices you might have generated and will continue to reference that each reminder. Hopefully that answered your question!
