Take control of your digital environment with ottomate. We replace rigid hardware with a versatile ecosystem offering two powerful inputs: a fully freeform touch deck for your mobile devices and a privacy-first voice engine. Use Local AI to execute complex macros, manage windows, and launch apps hands-free without cloud snooping. Profiles sync to the cloud for portability, but all processing stays on your machine for speed and security.

I built ottomate because I was frustrated with the limitations of my workflow. Whether I was deep in a gaming session or managing complex desktop tasks, I hated having to break my immersion (Alt+Tab!) just to trigger a simple action.
I wanted the power of a hardware deck without the extra clutter, and the futuristic feel of voice control without the privacy risks or lag. So, I built ottomate.
ottomate is a desktop automation powerhouse that lets you trigger complex actions in three ways:
Voice: Use local AI models for Voice Activity Detection (VAD) or push-to-talk to launch apps or run macros. It is completely private and runs locally on your machine.
Touch: Turn your phone or tablet into a fully custom command center. It is freeform, so you are not stuck with a grid; place components anywhere.
Shortcuts: Create global hotkeys for anything.
It is not just about launching apps. You can:
Simulate keyboard/mouse input.
Monitor hardware stats (CPU/GPU) in real-time.
Embed websites directly into your companion app.
Play sounds, focus windows, and more.
Many more automations and integrations are in the pipeline, like OBS, Zapier, window management, and an SDK for custom actions.
It is completely free during the beta period. We will introduce paid plans later, but we want to build this with you first. Anyone who registers during the beta will get a discount (to be defined) when we fully launch.
I would love to hear what you think. Who do you see using this the most? Gamers? Streamers? Professionals?
Hi! Is there a public API or SDK planned so we can build our own plugins? Or maybe a Zapier integration?
@natalia_monzon_munoz Hi there, thanks for taking the time!
You are hitting the nail on the head. Yes to both!
We have a Developer SDK on our roadmap to allow for custom actions and deep integrations. We believe a strong developer ecosystem is key to true flexibility, but we also need to think about security and how to protect our users, so plugins might need to go through a vetting process.
Regarding Zapier, that is also a priority integration for us to bridge local control with web services.
Since we are currently in Beta, the priority of these features depends heavily on community feedback. We would love to have you join our Discord or Reddit and tell us specifically what kind of plugins you are looking to build first. That helps us shape the API to fit your needs.
@bizarreal thats great! I've been using the whole morning and I've left a review already. Thanks and good luck!
I'm concerned about the voice commands. Is the audio processed locally or sent to the cloud?
@andrea_de_vincenti Hi!
I completely understand your concerns, but you can rest easy: your voice data never leaves your PC, as we use a local, fast AI model to process it. We're going to try to give more and more control over how the local models will run (CPU or GPU, priority, etc.) in the near future.
Ottomate looks pretty slick — the idea of automating workflows and tasks without needing to code every little thing feels super handy. If it works smoothly, I can see it saving a lot of time on repetitive stuff. I’m curious to give it a try and see how intuitive the setup is in real life.
@andrew_azman Hi! We tried to strike a balance by keeping advanced features with an intuitive UI. If you try it and you have feedback, please reach out. We want to hear from everyone and their use cases!
I've tried tools like Touch Portal before, but the setup was always a headache. How does the setup process here compare?
@laura_sgobba Hi!
We tried to make the process as painless as possible.
If you mean the setup process for your touchscreen devices, it's simple: just log in to the iOS or Android app, and it will connect to the PC app automatically. Unfortunately, we have had issues with social logins on mobile, so for now, they support only email/password or a device code that you can input in the PC app.
If you mean the creation of screens and automations, it should be easy too: we kept the editors easy to use, but still very powerful!
This looks super polished for a beta. Will it be a one-time purchase or a subscription model?
@ian_evans2 Hi! Great question!
During the beta period, it is completely free. It is probably going to be subscription-based, but we might consider a lifetime offering as well. But right now, we really want to build a community and hear from them, before committing to any pricing strategy.
This looks great, but I'm on a Mac for work. Is macOS support on the roadmap?
@federico_quaglieri Yes! Not only macOS, but also Linux. We haven't launched those yet because we want to focus on one platform for now, so Windows was the obvious choice, but Linux and MacOS are close. Stay tuned!
