Not enough time, too much cognitive load - we quickly realized this when trying to keep track of the grocery list, and respond to the new playdate group chat, and check the email from the water company. "Wouldn't it be nice to have an assistant right about now?" - well, we couldn't afford one; so we built one. It sounds strange to say, but running a household hasn't changed much in the last 100 years - bills, meals, maintenance, and people logistics. Technology promised to make life easier (and it did) while also multiplying interfaces for those who run households. We now have tools for every task, but nothing that unifies, anticipates, and actions them. Orbits takes the patchwork of calendars, emails and notes across all your family members and combines them into "Your Household". Slap on a layer of (private, secure) AI processing, and you get a proactive assistant that manages your household for you! We're still very early days so we're looking to shape the product through feedback from the Product Hunt communtiy! There IS a subscription, but don't worry - there's a 30-day trial, and we'll happily extend it for anyone that asks - we really just want to see what you love about the product, and what we can do better!
