OpenDevin aims to replicate Devin, an autonomous AI software engineer who is capable of executing complex engineering tasks and collaborating actively with users on software development projects.
Devin is incredibly interesting — and seeing a similar model get built out that's open source is even more exciting.
You can run OpenDevin on your own with any foundation model that liteLLM supports, including OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini.
Anyone has any experience with the costs of running this yet? Seems to me like the costs can get out of hand very quickly.

@thisisroman It's already cheaper to run queries this year compared to last, and it's only going down! With time this won't be a problem anymore, and the fact that OpenDevin is Open Source means it'll be ready for that moment thank to the community :)
I'm building a similar app and I noticed the price diff.
@chrismessina hey Chris, Thank you for sharing!
and congratulations to @rbren :)
I saw this repo trending in GitHub last week but I didn't have time to try it
