I work in industrial software development and often found that existing OPC UA tools were focused on protocol configuration and diagnostics rather than practical monitoring in the field. My goal was to create a mobile-first OPC UA monitoring tool that allows engineers to connect to existing OPC UA servers, browse available nodes, select the data they need, and build dashboards directly from an Android phone or tablet. OPCUA Monitor supports both Client/Server and OPC UA Pub/Sub (UDP & MQTT), making it possible to monitor industrial data in real time without custom code, vendor-specific integrations, or additional dashboard software. The project has been tested with Siemens S7-1200 and Prosys OPC UA Simulation Server, and I plan to expand compatibility with more OPC UA platforms over time.
